The extra coarse grit (30/60) gives rapid material removal, useful when surfaces are quite rough or badly worn.
The grease base (lithium grease) helps it stay in place (not run or fling off), maintains abrasive action even on hot / vertical surfaces.
Good shear stability (abrasive grains remain suspended, do not settle or separate out too fast).

This silicon carbide and lithium grease grinding compound comes in four grades for cylinder honing, score mark removal and cylinder head lapping in: extra fine, fine, medium, coarse and extra coarse.
