Metalcast® Green Anodized Coating

• Color / Finish: Translucent / Anodized Green. It provides a transparent colored coat that lets the metallic base or chrome shine through underneath.

• Can Size: 11 oz aerosol.

• Heat Resistance: Withstands intermittent heat up to 500°F (260°C), making it suitable for engine dress-up, brake calipers, valve covers, and under-hood components.

• Chemical Resistance: Formulated to resist oil, gas, and common automotive fluids.

• Drying Time: Dry to the touch in 20–30 minutes; safe to handle in 1 hour.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Prep:

   • On Bare Metal / Painted / Non-Shiny Surfaces: You must apply Dupli-Color Metalcast Ground Coat (MC100) first. The ground coat creates the reflective silver base necessary for the metallic anodized look.

   • On Chrome / Polished Metal: Apply directly onto clean, bare, shiny surfaces.

2. Technique:

   • Clean the area completely of grease, wax, and dirt.

   • Apply 2 light coats followed by 1 medium wet coat, waiting about 10 minutes between coats.

   • The tone’s depth depends on the number of coats applied—more coats result in a deeper green.
