The hammer has one flat round face and one milled, serrated square face, facilitating versatile usage. It is specifically designed for panel beating on slightly stretched areas of metal, making it suitable for automotive bodywork repairs. The cross-milled face exerts pressure to force small amounts of metal into created spaces, aiding in shaping and smoothing the metal surface during repair work.
