Frost Fuel Tank Strip Solution – 5Ltr (1.32Gal)

PS50

£49.99

FROST Tank Strip is a specialised acid-reinforced chemical formulated for the effective removal of a fuel tank sealer. Unlike conventional paint removers that often require multiple applications or mechanical sanding, Tank Strip penetrates deep into the layers, breaking down tough coatings and adhesives and is specifically used for Fuel Tank restoration projects where time efficiency and thorough paint removal is essential. Once applied, the solution reacts with the chemical bonds in the sealer, softening and lifting the layers for easy removal.

Application for best results:

  1. Temperature should be between 15°C &  32°C
  2. Protective clothing required at all times when using this product including chemical resistant gloves and goggles.
  3. Using a funnel carefully pour the Tank Strip into the tank making sure that none drips onto the outer body or any other painted surfaces
  4. Seal the tank making sure that no Tank Strip can leak or escape.
  5. Slowly and carefully rotate the tank making sure there is full coverage of the inside walls.
  6. DO NOT SHAKE as this will create air in the products and may cause pressure to build up.
  7. BE PATIENT as the process can take several hours to achieve the desired result.
  8. After several hours empty the tank, and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
  9. Repeat the process if the required finish has not been achieved.
