Fertan Tapox is a top-quality 2-part product designed to effectively seal petrol tanks, even against aggressive chemicals in modern Fuel like ethanol. It is specifically formulated to withstand 100% ethanol.
Fertan Tapox has a proven track record, ensuring reliable performance preventing issues like filter and carburettor blockages
Each pack of Fertan Tapox includes a sealant and an activator component offering effective protection for a 40L (24030) or 80L (24330) tank when mixed
It is very important that the inside of the tank is clean, bare and dry before use. If there is old sealant present then please use the Fertan Systems using Fertan Sealeater (22350) or if there is rust inside the tank Fertan FeDox (23630) Rust Remover

Application:
Before use, stir the TAPOX very well, add hardener and mix to a completely thin coating. Please note that TAPOX is a resin and not a paint and must, therefore, be stirred longer to obtain the completely thin mixture! Clean the tank very thoroughly before the internal coating, derust it and protect it against new corrosion with Fertan Rust Remover. Only apply the TAPOX coating in a completely dry tank. Follow the processing instructions carefully. Working time of the mixed product, for intermediate storage at 0° – max 4° C, maximum 4 hours.
