I bought the Contour to strip the VW Project.I did get a chance to use it on the car for a little while.I am impressed with how well it stripps the paint and any body filler.It is fast and smooth.I cannot wait to get after the rest of the body with this beast.

This sander is a beast”. Took my truck to bare metal in days compared to weeks with ra sander. Excellent tool for those who don’t have access to air tools.

bought the SCT for two purposes – to strip paint off my deck and mainly, to strip the paint off of my street rod project. I used the 80 grit wheels to strip the loose paint off my deck and it did a great job. Weight of the tool really does the work and the motor barely got a little warm. I also used the 80 grit on a section of my coupe’s trunk lid and it easily stripped the paint and left a beautiful finish on the bare metal. With the rotation of the wheel inline with the tool, there is no torque and makes the tool easy to manoeuvre. I purchased a number of different wheels and found the 80 grit stripping drum did as good a job removing the old paint on my coupe as the contour abrasive drum. (A major cost savings since it is approximately a third of the price of the abrasive drum.

I purchased this tool a couple of weeks ago and I am not disappointed. It is well built and very robust! The motor gives plenty of power! I got it for striping paint and light surface rust off of body panels. Since I have received it I have learned that it will do a good job putting a brushed finish on stainless steel.

Well made, feels solid, works great. Can’t beat that. I’ve been restoring older sports cars in my spare time for decades, and now that I’ve retired I have more spare time. So good reason to upgrade my tools. This surface conditioning tool is a real upgrade on other, rotary machines. Easy to control. Very effective.

Very impressive bit of kit. If you want to remove paint get the 40 grit drum. Makes less mess than using flap discs. My only gripe is that after waiting weeks for it to be back in stock FROST reduced the price by 20% a couple of days after I placed my order……🙄
