This Faced Hammer is a safer alternative for striking machined surfaces than conventional steel hammers and ideal for using when the striking area is fairly small, this dual purpose hammer is ideal for use on machinery. The impact resistant striking faces shape themselves to the component being struck, minimising rebound damage to the component. Both the rawhide and pure electrolytic copper striking faces can be easily replaced once they have become worn. This type of hammer is available in a range of sizes and specifications to ensure you find the product to best suit your needs. These hammers complete with branded heads replicate the hammers originally supplied in toolkits of most UK manufactured cars fitted with wire wheels and securing spinners. Sometimes known as Knock-Off or Knock Off hammers.
The Copper face combined with the Malleable Iron head gives a SAFE but high-impact blow, whilst the Hide face gives a firm resilient blow that will not mark the finished work.
