Pneumatic Degreaser Cleaning Tank

A pneumatic degreaser cleaning tank is a great piece of workshop equipment designed for cleaning mechanical parts (like engine components, gears, bearings, tools, etc.) that are covered in grease, oil, or dirt. Instead of scrubbing by hand, it uses compressed air (pneumatic power) to circulate and spray a degreasing solvent over the parts.

How it works:

1. Tank & Solvent Reservoir

   • The tank holds a cleaning solution, usually a solvent or water-based degreaser.

2. Air Supply (Pneumatics)

   • Connected to an air compressor, the system uses compressed air to power the pump inside the tank.

   • The air pressure drives the solvent up through hoses or a brush system.

3. Cleaning Action

   • Parts are placed inside the tank or on the tray.

   • A flexible hose or brush with solvent flow is used to direct cleaning fluid onto the dirty surfaces.

   • The solvent dissolves grease and oil, while air pressure ensures a steady, forceful stream for effective cleaning.

4. Drain & Recirculation

   • The used solvent drains back into the reservoir, where it can be filtered and reused until too contaminated.
