2K High Build Primer Aerosol

2K High Build Primer Aerosol is a high build primer utilizing two-component or 2K primer technology. Our 2k Primer can be applied to a wide range of substrates with outstanding adhesion and sealing properties. For a two component primer, it is very quick drying and isocyanate free.

     Best Practices for Application

1. Prep: Clean and degrease; ensure substrate is dry and lightly abraded.

2. Activate: Pull & twist metal pin, then shake for ~2 minutes to activate 2‑component mix masterfinish.co.uk

3. Spray: Use light, even cross‑coats from ~25 cm away.

4. Dry/Sand:

   • Air dry: Let it cure for ~45 min before sanding (400–500 grit).

   • For wet-on-wet: Flash ~20 min, or 15–20 min with IR/bake masterfinish.co.uk

5. Topcoat: Compatible with epoxy/high‑build primers, acrylics, enamels, and clear coats.
