TIG Welding is the most controllable, efficient and most versatile method of welding many metals including steel, stainless steel, aluminum and more. Your Eastwood TIG 200 welder with High-Frequency Inverter Technology is capable of welding thin or heavy gauge steel and aluminum with precision and ease.

The Voltage self-sensing circuitry automatically detects a power source range of 110 to 240 Volts and delivers from 10 up to 200 Amps of AC or DC current at super-high frequency with the added advantage of a light weight unit.

The specially engineered 200-amp Eastwood TIG Welder offers affordable, professional-quality TIG welding on aluminum, stainless or steel (sheet, tube or bar stock), and precise welding of thinner-gauge materials up to 1/4" thick.

The included foot pedal provides the operator with the precise Amperage control required when welding. A high frequency start feature guarantees an instant arc strike with no tungsten contamination.

Duty Cycle

The Rated Duty Cycle refers to the amount of welding that can be done within an amount of time. The Eastwood TIG 200 has a duty cycle of 60% at 190 Amps. It is easiest to look at your welding time in blocks of 10 Minutes and the Duty Cycle being a percentage of that 10 Minutes. If welding at 190 Amps with a 60% Duty Cycle, within a 10 Minute block of time you can weld for 6 Minutes with 4 Minutes of cooling for the welder. To increase the Duty Cycle you can turn down the Amperage Output control. Going above 190 Amps will yield a lower duty cycle.

Required items

  • Well ventilated work area

My First Tig Welding MachineReview by Mike
So far this thing is great, its so simple to use. I have had experience MIG welding and brazing so it wasn't hard to get use to. There are many "How to" videos out there that helped a lot. As for this machine it has never given me one problem, its quiet and Im having a blast learning on this machine. My wife Mary wants to give it a try :) Good machine Eastwood !!!! My TigReview by Twisted6
I just bought Tig200 a few days ago and I just set it up this weekend. And gave it a test run. I'm very pleased with I did some tests on 1/16 alum and some 3/8. Now if I can find that sweet spot to weld the two together with out burning up the 1/16 I'll be even happier with it. And I'll have my billet valve cover and oil pan done. (Posted on 02/06/2018)
Love this WelderReview by Scooter
I have had this unit for a number of years and thought it was time to leave a review. I have been so impressed with this unit as it has always stood up to the challenges I have thrown at it. Well worth the money. (Posted on 02/06/2018)
