Abrasive blasting is good for rusty frames and such, but abrasives can ruin the smooth texture of factory sheet metal when stripping the paint and rust. For delicate jobs good old fashioned baking soda is a much better choice.
This Eastwood Abrasive Blaster can handle both ways! This top loading blaster takes about 40kilos of media.
Blast using hight capacity 1/2 inch diameter - 8 foot long hose fitted with deadman vave.
Complete with conversion kit for soda blasting. Soda blasting leaves a metal surfaces clean as new. There is no damage from heat wraping as with abrasive blasting, but you have a smooth surface to work from. The soda leaves behind a thin film of pulverised Baking Soda on the bare metal surface which also acts as a protective film to prevent flash rust.
Use soda media to remove coating on delicate substrates such as fibreglass, chrome, stainless, etc.
Requires min 7cfm at 80 to 100 psi. Will remove anti-fouling with little effort.
