Great tool with great features I am working on some auto body modifications, and was using a cheap Flux core welder with horrible results so I started looking for a "real" mig welder I could afford. After much looking I found this welder from Eastwood and it had everything I was looking for. Once I received it, and started using it, I was very impressed. I didn't burn through as often, and made much better welds with much less spatter. I am now looking for other projects where I can use my new welder.

Good machine so far I've only had my machine for a little over a month. I've had very good luck running with gas. I picked up a couple spools of acid core and I have no doubts it'll perform with no problem. My pal picked up a machine 5 years ago, paid 4 X the cost of the Eastwood, and you can't tell the difference when welding with them. He said, "where was Eastwood when I needed my machine?"

Great Mig Welder With 38 years maintenance welding experience in a steel mill, I have to say this machine is really worth the money! It worked perfect right out of the box! I liked the packaging and the general layout. My only issue is that I wish it had a purge control but that's no big deal. Just a perk that I'm used to. Pull the trigger and do some runout and it's purged. Great machine well worth you trying.
