Restore Rust Remover (500ml)

First, clean parts with Restore Pre-Clean Concentrate.
The part(s) are degreased and any loose rust removed before suspending in a bath. For lightly rusted surfaces, inspect after 1 hour. Remove, wash under running water and scrub surfaces with a nylon brush to remove the dissolved rust. Parts remain rust free without further protection for a considerable period, allowing time for painting, chemically blackening, or plating. The derusting solution may be used again until the solution becomes blackened and reaction time excessively slow

RESTORE products can be used by a diverse range of users, from restorers of all type of vehicles, boat builders, model engineers etc. They are water-based, non-acidic, non-toxic, biodegradable derusting concentrates, which only remove the rust and do not attack plastics, rubbers and non-ferrous metals (Products that contain phosphoric acid will remove rust and a certain amount of good metal). There is also no danger of flash rusting occurring when parts are removed from the bath (a powerful corrosion inhibitor is included in the formulation).
