Any kit show is packed with individual, intriguing and very tempting machines.

Many of them are great designs and good value, but be careful - it can be a bit of a minefield out there if you're not experienced and aren't sure what you're looking for, in your search for the right kit car project. You need to decide if you are going to go for a Classic, an Exotic, a Hotrod etc and then choose something that’s a good fit for your skills and budget. Web site forums are a great place to get started.

When you think about it, each and every kit car is built and finished only as well as its builder's skills and knowledge allow. So cars out there can vary from bodged to beautiful.
